The Machine Operator I position is responsible for safely operating assigned production equipment while ensuring product quality, productivity, and adherence to established safety standards. The Machine Operator I follows standard work procedures, performs routine inspections, supports equipment changeovers, and contributes to efficient production operations while developing proficiency across production processes.

What will your day look like?- Operate assigned production and packaging equipment according to established work instructions.
- Verify products are assembled and packaged according to specifications.
- Conduct routine in-process and end-of-line quality inspections.
- Accurately document production, quality, and inventory information.
- Monitor equipment performance and notify supervision of safety, quality, or operational concerns.
- Assist with equipment changeovers and line setups.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Safely load materials and packaging components into equipment.
- Support production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Work effectively with team members across departments.
- Complete cross-training activities as assigned.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or machine operation experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and production schedules.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and communicate safety or quality concerns.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated reliability and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to operate or learn company production systems.
