Respite Clinical Supervisor (RN) – Saint Joe’s

Schedule: 40 hours/week + on-call

Saint Joe’s is seeking a compassionate and experienced Respite Clinical Supervisor (RN) to support daily operations of our Respite Program. In partnership with the Assistant Director of Nursing, this role ensures high-quality, compliant care for individuals with developmental and complex medical needs while leading and mentoring staff.

• Oversee respite operations, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance
• Supervise and support clinical and DSP staff; assist with scheduling and coverage
• Coordinate admissions/discharges and communicate with internal departments
• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing staff development
• Monitor documentation, complete progress notes, and report incidents
• Deliver direct nursing care as needed (medications, treatments, tube feedings, personal care)
• Support delegated nursing in ICF and community respite programs
• Participate in on-call rotation

• Active RN license (Ohio) required
• 2+ years’ experience with individuals with complex medical needs (pediatric experience preferred)
• Supervisory and employee relations experience
• Knowledge of ODH, ODODD, and ODJFS regulations preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license
