Core Responsibilities- Manage projects, client relations, and staff delegation.
- Lead and participate in wetland and waters delineations, report writing, and federal and state JD requests.
- Prepare permit applications for USACE, state, and local agencies.
- Coordinate with USFWS and state agencies on threatened and endangered species effects determinations.
- Conduct wetland and stream assessments, categorizations, and support restoration, mitigation, and native habitat projects.
- Support other disciplines as needed and travel for field and office work, including occasional overnight and out-of-state travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related environmental field required; MS preferred.
- 4–8 years of wetland delineation and waters permitting experience.
- Valid driver’s license, clean record, U.S. work authorization, and drug screen.
- Ability to perform fieldwork in rough terrain and inclement weather, carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of USACE manuals, Clean Water Act 404/401, and permitting processes.
- Wetland plant identification; experience with GPS, ArcGIS, and electronic field data collection.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, technical writing, multitasking, project/budget management, teamwork, and staff training skills.
