Class A CDL Flatbed Driver

Nisbet Brower is a family-owned building materials supplier that has been serving the Greater Cincinnati area since 1870. We provide quality building products and dependable service to builders, contractors, remodelers, and homeowners throughout the region.

Nisbet Brower is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our delivery team. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with local deliveries and no overnight routes, allowing our drivers to be home daily.

The primary responsibility of this position is delivering building materials to residential and commercial job sites using a flatbed truck and Moffett forklift. The ideal candidate has Class A driving experience, is comfortable navigating active construction sites, and takes pride in providing safe, professional, and dependable service to our customers.

• Safely operate a Class A flatbed truck to deliver building materials to customer job sites.
• Operate a Moffett-mounted forklift to safely unload and place materials at delivery locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Properly secure loads and ensure materials are transported safely.
• Verify delivery paperwork and materials before and after deliveries.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while maintaining timely service.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, dispatch, and other team members.
• Safely navigate residential neighborhoods, construction sites, and active job sites.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Report vehicle, equipment, or delivery issues promptly.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous Class A commercial driving experience preferred.
• Flatbed delivery experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating a Moffett or other truck-mounted forklift preferred.
• Knowledge of proper load securement and safe material handling.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and handle building materials.
• Comfortable delivering to residential and commercial construction sites.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Must meet applicable DOT and company driver requirements.
