Summary Description

The Inventory Controls II team member is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and system integrity through advanced inventory analysis, transaction auditing, discrepancy resolution, and WMS/ERP expertise. This role serves as an inventory process resource, supports complex investigations and audits, and works cross-functionally to improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and process adherence.

What will your day look like?
  • Serve as a WMS/ERP Super User, maintaining advanced system knowledge.
  • Perform complex inventory investigations, variance analysis, and transaction history reviews.
  • Lead and execute secondary cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and inventory validations.
  • Analyze inventory data using Microsoft Excel to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Generate reports that support operational and leadership decision-making.
  • Act as an escalation point for inventory-related issues.
  • Validate and maintain accurate inventory data within the WMS/ERP system.
  • Identify recurring inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
  • Assist with inventory-related projects, system enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Provide guidance and training to warehouse team members on inventory processes.
  • Support operational coverage and issue resolution during Team Lead absences when assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Duties
  • Perform counts as determined and provided from our WMS system as well as any additional counts that may be required.
  • Assist other departments in material movements, count verification, etc. as requested.
  • Ensure locations are 100% accurate regarding SKU, piece count, location etc. before leaving the area.
  • Accurately report physical inventory to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Safely operate a hand jack for materials movements and a task support vehicle (Joey).
  • Follows FDA protocol for all lot controlled and age sensitive items.
Schedule:
  • Monday
    - Thursday: 9 hour shifts (6:00am-3:30pm), Fridays: 4 hour shifts (6:00am-10:00am)
  • Additional overtime may be offered or required based on business need
Qualifications What you bring to the table:

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional education in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of inventory control experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using WMS and/or ERP systems.
  • Experience performing audits, cycle counts, and inventory investigations.
Specific

Skills:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.
  • Strong inventory investigation capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret transaction history and inventory data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and support peers.
  • Strong understanding of inventory controls and warehouse operations.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see and use repetitive motions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds of material, boxes, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
