Status: Salaried, Exempt (minimum 20 hours/week, Saturdays as needed)
Job Title: Construction Supervisor (Part‑Time, 3 Days/Week)
About the RoleWolf River Habitat for Humanity is looking for a passionate, hands‑on Construction Supervisor to lead our homebuilding efforts—and help turn dreams of home ownership into reality.
In this role, you won’t just manage construction projects—you’ll guide volunteers, empower families, and directly shape communities. We’re seeking someone motivated to grow our impact from building 1 home to 2 homes per year, bringing safe, affordable housing to more families in need.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary:
Competitive and based on experience - Flexible schedule (mutually agreed upon)
- 12 days of paid personal time (after 90‑day probation)
Paid holidays, including:

- Good Friday & Saturday

- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve & Day
- Oversee the full homebuilding process—from planning and permits to completion
- Manage budgets, materials, subcontractors, and volunteer crews
- Coordinate with Construction and Executive Committees
- Identify and acquire properties and secure competitive bids
- Ensure quality workmanship, including post‑build warranty support
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Support projects like renovations, remodels, and accessibility upgrades
- Create a welcoming, rewarding experience for volunteers of all skill levels
- Train and mentor volunteers and partner families on the jobsite
- Build a strong, growing community of engaged supporters
- Foster teamwork so homes are built with the community—not just for it
- Actively promote Habitat’s mission: “Bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.”
- Ensure everyone involved—volunteers, donors, and partners—feels connected to this purpose
- Maintain a safe, organized jobsite and warehouse
- Enforce all safety protocols and Habitat policies
- Hold and maintain Habitat Competent Person certification
- Experience in residential construction (3+ years supervisory preferred)
- Contractor’s license (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong leadership and people skills across diverse groups
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and working alongside volunteers
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a dynamic environment
- Physical ability to perform demanding construction tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (email, Word, internet)
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Willingness to complete Habitat safety training
- Commitment to Habitat’s mission and values
