Torborgs Shawano Lumber is seeking an experienced Draftsman/Residential Designer to join our team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong residential design and drafting experience who enjoys collaborating with customers, builders, and team members to bring projects from concept to reality.

• Create residential construction drawings and design plans using Revit 2026
• Utilize Bluebeam and other industry software to review, revise, and manage project documents
• Read, interpret, and develop blueprints and construction plans
• Work closely with customers, contractors, and internal teams throughout the design process
• Ensure plans meet project requirements and applicable building standards
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple projects
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in residential drafting, design, or a related field
• Proficiency with Revit 2026, Bluebeam, and other drafting/design software
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Solid understanding of residential construction methods and materials
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Associate's Degree in Architectural Technology, Architectural Design, or a related field preferred
