Role Responsibilities You will be responsible for leading, developing, and mentoring student-athletes in the Shawano Community High School Girls Golf program. As the Junior Varsity Girls Golf Coach, you will teach fundamental golf skills, course management, rules and etiquette, and help athletes build confidence and a love for the game. The JV coach will support the overall goals of the program by preparing student-athletes for varsity competition while creating a positive, team-first environment.

Additional responsibilities include planning and conducting effective practices, coaching athletes during matches, ensuring athlete safety, communicating effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff, and assisting with administrative responsibilities as needed.

Role Requirements The ideal candidate will foster a culture of sportsmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement while working collaboratively with the Varsity Head Golf Coach to build a positive and competitive girls golf program. The Junior Varsity Coach will support the overall philosophy of the program by providing quality instruction, encouraging individual growth, and helping student-athletes develop the skills and confidence needed to compete at higher levels.

The successful candidate will maintain clear and consistent communication with student-athletes, parents, and staff while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and academic support for all student-athletes.
