The Shawano School District includes four schools early elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools and the district office.

As a Middle School Assistant Football Coach, you will help teach fundamental football skills, position-specific techniques, game strategy, and sportsmanship while fostering a positive, team-first environment. The assistant coach will support the implementation of practice plans, assist during games, and help prepare student-athletes for future success at the high school level. Additional responsibilities include ensuring athlete safety, promoting character development, communicating effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff, and supporting the administrative needs of the program.

The ideal candidate will cultivate teamwork, discipline, accountability, and sportsmanship while working collaboratively with the coaching staff to build a positive and competitive middle school football program. The Middle School Assistant Coach will support the overall philosophy of the football program by providing quality instruction, encouraging individual growth, and helping student-athletes develop the skills, confidence, and work ethic needed to succeed at the next level.

The successful candidate will maintain clear and consistent communication with student-athletes, parents, and staff while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and academic support for all student-athletes.
