As the Assistant Boys Tennis Coach
, you will teach fundamental and advanced tennis skills, stroke development, match strategy, conditioning, and sportsmanship while helping student-athletes build confidence, discipline, and a strong work ethic. The assistant coach will support the overall goals of the program by preparing student-athletes for success in competition while fostering a positive, team-first environment. Additional responsibilities include assisting with planning and conducting effective practices, coaching athletes during matches and tournaments, ensuring athlete safety, communicating effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff, and supporting the administrative needs of the program as needed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will foster a culture of accountability, discipline, sportsmanship, and continuous improvement while working collaboratively with the Head Boys Tennis Coach to build a positive and competitive tennis program. The Assistant Coach will support the overall philosophy of the program by providing quality instruction, encouraging individual growth, and helping student-athletes develop the technical skills, match strategy, mental toughness, and confidence needed to compete at a high level.
The successful candidate will maintain clear and consistent communication with student-athletes, parents, and staff while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and academic support for all student-athletes.
