Patient Access Registrar - Every 3rd Weekend - PM Shift

Theda Care -  - Responsibilities:
Performs pre-registration of patient accounts prior to patient visits including inbound and outbound calling to obtain demographic, insurance, and other patient information;
Collects insurance information and patient demographics;
Operates the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls;
Explains general consent for treatment forms to the patient/guarantor/legal guardian, and obtains necessary signatures;
Audits accounts to ensure forms are complete, accurate, and timely to meet audit standards
