Information Security Officer – Premier Community Bank

Premier Community Bank is seeking an experienced Information Security Officer who will also support our Information Technology team with daily operations, projects, and bank-wide technology services! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic oversight and hands-on technical work. Due to the operational nature of this position, regular on-site availability is a core part of the role.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the bank’s information security program to protect systems, data, and technology assets. This position also works closely with the IT team to assist with technology support, system administration, vendor coordination, and ongoing operational needs. The ideal candidate understands regulatory expectations for financial institutions and can translate them into practical, effective processes.

• Implement the information security strategy and objectives approved by the Board of Directors, including processes to monitor and address current and emerging risks.
• Ensure that access control, disaster recovery, business continuity, incident response, and risk management needs are properly addressed across the organization.
• Assist Information Technology with Active Directory and Entra , installation, configuration and set up of computer hardware, peripherals, and related components.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of Information Security and Risk Management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, ideally in a role responsible for supporting the organization’s network and infrastructure.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards such as NIST and FFIEC guidelines.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of internal staff members and external professionals, including regulators, consultants, auditors, and others.
• Ability to write clear documentation, including policies, procedures, and technical reports.
