Manufacturing Engineering Technician I
Join Komatsu and be part of something big! The Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports manufacturing operations through process development, standardization, and continuous improvement. This role works closely with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency, support new and existing processes, and ensure safe, repeatable operations on the shop floor.

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong and consistent presence on the shop floor to support operators, troubleshoot issues in real time, and drive continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot production and process issues and actively participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work directly with tools, equipment, and operators to validate and improve processes.
- Supports development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes. Creates and maintains work instructions, process documentation, and job routings.
- Conducts time studies and establishes standard work.
- Assist in tooling and fixture design.
- Take a leading role in 5S, safety, and quality activities.
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements to reduce waste and variation.
- Train and support operators on processes, tools, and standard work.
- Assist with BOM and routing accuracy within ERP systems.
- Other duties related to manufacturing, as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience (assembly, fabrication, or machining preferred)
- Experience working in a production environment with direct involvement in processes, tools, or equipment
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of common manufacturing standards and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and process documentation
- Proficient in the use of computers and technology
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
