Position Overview:
Equipment coordinator | Shawano | HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Pay: $30.75 - $35.07 - $39.40
Bonuses:

Schedule:
Day Shift and Night Shift
2-2-3 5 am-5 pm Non-Swing Shift
2-2-3 5 pm-5 am Non-Swing Shift

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
Functions:
Conduct preventative maintenance on downstream equipment. Ensure that the downstream equipment is ready to be put back into production as the schedule dictates. This position is backed up by a selection made by the Extrusion or Maintenance Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Must keep work area safe, including all bone yards and storage areas.
Understanding and daily practice of 5S in all bone yards and storage areas.
Communicate with all Operations and Maintenance personnel.
Follow all food safety and consumer safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Participates in GMP and food safety training.
Monitor change over list, prepares and inspects equipment for upcoming changeover.
Delivers downstream equipment to production lines on a timely basis and ensures equipment is operating properly.
Perform preventative maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, checking oil levels, replacing seal heads, knife blades, seal bar tape, setting up perforators, and other tasks as needed.
Move equipment from location to location using pallet jack or forklift.
Setting equipment up for operation to include connecting power, air, water or other mechanical requirements.
Perform daily maintenance checks and repairs equipment as needed
Maintains working inventory of powered pallet jacks and powered walking lifts.
Writes maintenance work orders as required for repairs, and parts requests for materials.
Keeps equipment location records
Perform other duties as required by management.
Company policies, procedures, and practices are implemented via this position. Quality of products is directly related to the effectiveness of individuals in this job. A broad base of current technical knowledge is required to ensure that standards are met and efficiencies are maintained. Problem solving and decision-making abilities are essential for success.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
HS Diploma or GED preferred
Required Knowledge:
Must have knowledge of Safety Data Sheets, First Aid and Safety Standards. Operating procedure knowledge a plus.

Required:
Previous experience working with equipment
Ongoing training and education are essential to continue to improve work processes, all employees will be expected to attend training and education sessions.

Hours of Employment:
Employees are expected to work 8 hour shifts. This position is currently day shift, Monday - Friday (day shift). This is a non-exempt position and is paid hourly. Overtime regulations do apply. Holidays, sick leave, vacation, etc. as dictated by the employee handbook.
