Machine Operator / Production Worker – 1st Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Machine Operator / Production Worker to join our growing team in a wood manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, first-shift position with opportunities for cross-training and advancement.
ResponsibilitiesOperate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
Load and unload lumber and wood products
Inspect materials for defects and perform quality checks
Discard scrap and defective pieces
Assist with machine setup and adjustments
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow production schedules, work orders, and shipping instructions
Support multiple departments as a general laborer
QualificationsPrior experience in wood manufacturing and machine operation required
Ability to lift and move 30–50 lbs unassisted
Comfortable with twisting, bending, and reaching
Experience using hand tools
Strong attendance and punctuality
Ability to work 10-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
