Staff Today is seeking a LPN / LVN Correctional for a local contract job in Shawano, Wisconsin.

Shift Details:

• Days (7a to 730p)
• 8 week assignment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide companionship and basic care to patients
• Administer prescribed medications to patient

Minimum Qualifications:

At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). A valid and current LPN license issued within the US A valid and current CPR card Experience n ER, Psychiatric, MS or Clinic Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. Must have correctional experience. Due to strict background qualifications of the site, candidates must have a clean record.
