Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time/Part-Time/Casual All Shifts

Summary of Position:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. The RN adheres to the standards of care for the area, manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety, and supervises the resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and helpers.

Follows all North Shore’s policies and procedures. Performs duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act. Follows applicable JCAHO standards.

Full-time, part-time, and casual positions available. Weekend shifts: 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday; paid for 40 hours. Wages up to $50.75 per hour based on shift and experience.

• An RN with an active license and a heart for elder care
• Team-oriented, accountable, and takes pride in work
• Current CPR certification
• Proficient in use of necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Meets all health requirements imposed by law
• Positive and effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other staff
• English literacy (read, write, speak, understand)
• Basic computer knowledge; aptitude to learn company applications
• Preferred: skilled nursing experience; passion and attitude are valued too

• On-demand pay app; allows transfer of a portion of paycheck before payday. Borrow up to 50% of pay generated from the prior day's shift. Amounts borrowed are deducted from checks each pay period.
