Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2210 per week

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred within the last 12 months.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Staffency Program
- Theda Care and no current placement allowed at Program:
Staffency Program
- Theda Care.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/

Experience:

- Critical access experience required.

- Experience with titratable drips is required.

- No new travelers - at least one completed contract required.

Required Credentials:

- Candidates with NP licensure will only be considered for NP roles, not lower positions.

- Associate degree or certificate accepted.

Special Requests:

- Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence.

Unit Details:

- Busy critical access unit with IMU patients; roughly 1 in 3 patients is IMU level.

- Sees detox, stroke rule-outs, respiratory cases, and limited post-surgical patients, mostly for pain control.

- All age groups.

Shift & Scheduling:

- Every weekend (Friday-Sunday).

- Holiday rotation.

- No call.

- Contract hours may vary during orientation week and holidays when the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements:

- Throughout the facility within skillset and to all Theda Care facilities within a 60 mile radius.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:
