We have several openings for Summer LTE’s (limited time employee) within our Highway Department. These positions would generally begin in May and last through August. This position is 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime. General hours are Monday – Thursday 6 AM – 4 PM.
Job SummaryExamples of work to be performed are: traffic control/flagging operations aiding in construction staking and/or surveying on road construction projects; installing culvert pipes; traffic control; mowing roadside ditches; cutting brush; painting/maintaining guardrails; general labor and any other highway maintenance/construction related activity.
Requirements- High School Diploma
- Operation of basic hand tools and mowers
- Requires a valid driver's license and adequate insurance as required by County Policy
