Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a company that is in major growth mode. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to an organization dedicated to operational excellence and financial transparency.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Controller to ensure daily financial operations are completed
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Prepare and submit payment applications, ensuring all necessary documentation and supporting information are included
- Record and track incoming deposits to maintain an up-to-date cash flow overview.
- Make journal entries to reflect adjustments and transactions in the accounting system
- Reach out to clients regarding overdue invoices to ensure any outstanding balances are addressed
- Assist the Controller with month-end and year-end financial statement preparation
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred
- 3+ years of proven accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Experience with SAGE, Dynamics, or similar accounting software
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
