Position Summary & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Waiver Services
* HCBS Programs:
* The incumbent oversees Financial Management Services (FMS) providers and the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system and processes. This includes monitoring FMS providers' compliance with program requirements, ensuring provider compliance with the EVV system, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to FMS providers and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of the EVV system and ensure a high level of service quality for program participants.
* The incumbent performs as back up for HCBS Program Managers in the event they are unavailable. The position provides additional program management support to program managers.
* The incumbent tracks HCBS waivers forms and templates for necessary updates and revisions. In addition, this position assists with functions and tasks required in Aging and Disability Community Services and Programs (ADCSP) Commission and in Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).
* The incumbent supports LTSS HCBS policy-making processes by tracking the administrative steps required to support policy processes.
* Projects and Policy Support
* The incumbent will provide administrative support to HCBS project management teams and policy-making processes as designated by the HCBS Director or the HCBS Policy and Program Oversight Director.
Administrative Duties to LTSS Commission
* The incumbent in this position must have sufficient knowledge of the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services' (KDADS) Long Term Services and Supports Commission's (LTSS) programs, staff, resources, and websites so as to direct callers to the most appropriate source of information.
* The incumbent will review mail and email correspondence from various stakeholders.
* The incumbent will be trained in various roles in LTSS to cover if needed.
* The incumbent will provide administrative support to the LTSS commission this can include setting up meetings, reviewing correspondence, taking notes for meetings, and other duties as included.
HCBS Provider Database, and other HCBS Data Entry, Tracking, Maintenance and Reporting
* The incumbent maintains a database and utilizes spreadsheets for tracking and monitoring of HCBS Functions.
* The incumbent maintains and updates the commission's data periodically, as needed.
* The incumbent supports program managers data cleanup needs; this includes cleanup of HCBS waivers waitlist data, crisis exception requests data, and other data required for program reports.
* The incumbent collaborates with program managers to track program's data needs, reports and requests from the IT department.
* The incumbent will work with the position supervisor on projects data needs, as well as with data analysts to support policy formulation processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Three years of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work.
* Knowledge in computer software including word processing, spread sheets and databases is preferred.
* Proofreading, editing, attention to detail
* Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
* Knowledge of the Kansas Medicaid program
* Unrestricted Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
* Two years of experience in any health or human services, or behavioral sciences field of study
* Knowledge of the Kansas Medicaid program
