Our client, a respected name in the Construction industry, is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on high-profile commercial concrete projects in the Kansas City Metro. - Manage and supervise all on-site concrete operations including forming, rebar, pours, finishing, and curing.
- Lead, train, and motivate field crews to meet productivity and quality goals.
- Assign daily tasks and manpower based on project schedule and priorities.
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct daily safety meetings and job hazard analyses.
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work activities to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Maintain job site organization, cleanliness, and professional appearance.
- Ensure work is completed according to project drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Provide daily reports on manpower, production, safety, and project progress to management.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial concrete construction, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Proficient knowledge of concrete forming systems, rebar placement, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Solid understanding of construction scheduling and manpower planning.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with tilt‑up, foundations, slabs‑on‑grade, and structural concrete.
- Background working on large commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction reporting tools or apps such as Procore, Bluebeam, etc.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work early mornings, overtime, and weekends when required by the project schedule.
