Position Summary & Responsibilities:
The person in this position performs administrative support responsibilities under the direct supervision of the Special Education leadership team, including team coordination for school improvement initiatives and work involving Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) federal regulations and guidance and Kansas State Board of Education (KSBE) regulations and initiatives for programs overseen by the team. Other key responsibilities include planning and organizing Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) meetings, KSBE materials, timekeeping, web management and working on agency conference committees.

Required
Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
