• LPN license
• School experience recommended but not required.

• Follow plans created by RN to monitor for signs of hypoglycemia.
• If signs are noted, conduct a finger stick blood glucose check.
• Treat with orange juice via g-tube if indicated in nursing plan and medical orders.
• If student has a g-tube feeding going while on the bus, monitor the pump for kinks, occlusions, or other issues and troubleshoot as outlined in nursing plan.
• Monitor for signs of seizure activity.
• If student has a seizure, follow nursing plan and medical orders for student safety, timing of the seizure, and give sublingual medication if indicated.
• The person will work as student s aide on the bus and work with the school nurse.
