Project Engineer, Electrical Engineering

The Project Engineer provides engineering solutions as part of a TMS project taskforce, in accordance with Guidant standards, procedures, Customer needs, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, and customer satisfaction. You will be working internally with Senior engineers, developers, engineering technicians and the project management team and externally directly with customers contact.

• Performs in accordance with project instructions, schedules, processes. Writes and issues technical specifications and reports related to own activities for customer projects.
• Supervises engineering technicians by checking their work and ensures quality and efficiency of deliverables.
• Works on design basis for projects.
• Works closely with development & Project managers.

• BS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of experience in the field OR engineering technician at Guidant for 3 years.
• Strong technical basis in engineering.
• Presentation and some coaching skills.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Service/Customer oriented.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Good command of English.
