Senior Procurement Project Manager

Experience

• Full procurement lifecycle, including:
  • RFP development
  • Bid evaluations
  • Commercial analysis/valuation
  • Contract negotiations
• Familiarity with established procurement processes and governance
• Experience on thermal projects (simple cycle, combined cycle, gas projects preferred)
• Background handling large procurement packages (vs. small buys)

• Demonstrated experience procuring major thermal plant equipment, including:
  • Steam generators / HRSGs / boilers
  • Steam turbines, gas turbines, generators
  • Balance of Plant (BOP): pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, condensers
  • Electrical systems: transformers, switch gear, MCCs
  • I&C and DCS systems
• Ability to manage long‑lead items, expediting, inspection, logistics, and vendor coordination
• Strong understanding of technical specifications, data sheets, and vendor drawings in collaboration with Engineering

• 10–15+ years of procurement experience in energy or heavy industrial EPC environments, with 5+ years supporting large scale thermal power projects
• Direct experience on EPC / LSTK / EPCM contracts for thermal generation facilities (coal fired, gas fired, simple cycle, combined cycle, biomass, waste to energy, CHP)
• Proven involvement across project phases: FEED, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and close out
• Construction industry experience (required)
