Our client is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to support both commercial and retail lending activities. This individual will work out of the main branch located Northeast of Lawrence, Kansas. This position plays a critical role in the loan process by preparing and reviewing loan documentation, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, perfecting collateral, and maintaining accurate loan records.
Responsibilities- Review loan requests for completeness and accuracy.
- Board loans to the core system.
- Manage document imaging and indexing.
- Assist with routing and retention of loan files.
- Strong understanding of loan documentation and loan operations procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Maintain current knowledge of lending regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with departmental projects and support overall efficiency and effectiveness of the loan operations function.
