VP, CRE Asset Management Services

Responsibilities

• Perform independent end‑to‑end management of construction and reserve draw requests for a diverse portfolio of loans, sponsors and clients across all commercial real‑estate property sectors
• Process borrower consents, financial analysis, and other ad hoc asset management duties within respective contracted scope of service
• Oversee junior staff performing these functions
• Ensure tasks assigned to team members are completed in a timely manner adhering to internal control requirements, audit standards, and client service levels
• Perform QC of junior team members’ work product to ensure SitusAMC’s high standards are achieved in terms of quality, accuracy and completeness
• Manage client expectations and serve as an initial point of contact for process clarification and project coordination
• Supervise and mentor junior team members fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to exceed client needs
• Review draw packages for accuracy and coordinate receipt of missing information
• Confirm all disbursement conditions have been satisfied
• Manage borrower consent requests including collection of required documents and confirmation of completed package
• Monitor capital sources and uses to confirm loan balance and coordinate resolution of imbalances with borrower
• Review TI/LC allowances and change orders to ensure compliance
• Analyze and prepare recommendations for lender approval

• Bachelor’s degree; preferred field of study: real estate, finance/accounting, business or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred
• Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or combination of relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent
• Experience in commercial real estate and debt or equity asset management preferred
• Proficiency with major property types (office, industrial, retail, multifamily)
• Basic knowledge of specialty property types (hotels and condominiums)
• Proficiency with advanced CRE principles including underwriting, loan servicing and treasury practices
• Proficient with common CRE calculations and concepts: IRRs, NPV, DSCR, DY, NOI/NCF
• Basic knowledge of all deal types (transitional, development, pre‑development, repositioning, and stabilized properties)
• Basic knowledge of complex debt positions (participations, syndications, CLOs, senior and mezzanine debt, warehouse and repo lines)
• Ability to create complex financial models in Excel or similar programs and demonstrate strong analytical skills

Demonstrates expertise in commercial real estate asset management, including financial analysis, loan servicing, and underwriting. Proven ability to manage teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with internal controls and client service standards.
