- Evaluate new and existing customers to determine creditworthiness and appropriate credit terms.
- Review credit applications, financial statements, payment history, credit reports, trade references, and other relevant information.
- Partner with sales and management on higher-risk accounts and significant credit decisions.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging, past-due balances, DSO, credit utilization, and other credit-related KPIs.
- Maintain accurate documentation supporting credit decisions and account reviews.
- Analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare recurring financial and management reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Track actual financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Assist leadership with evaluating investments, pricing decisions, customer profitability, and other business opportunities.
- Partner with management to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Identify areas where costs can be reduced or processes improved without negatively affecting operations.

- Bachelors degree in business, finance or accounting.
- Ability to create processes and conceptualize.
- Freight Experience Strongly Preferred.
