• Practices infection control standards and utilizes approved personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant agents.
• Maintains a properly stocked, organized, and clean room.
• Completes required documentation for Radiologist support and performs clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling.
• Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
• Obtains and documents patient history and explains procedures. Performs radiology duties in all departments and environments, including OR and Fluoroscopy.

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x‑ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility.
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health‑care professionals.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry.
• Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
