Compensation: $80,000 to $108,555/Annual

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position will lead, direct and supervise the KDOC Enforcement, Apprehension and investigation (EAI) Division, including facility and field operations, acting as liaison between other KDOC divisions / sections and outside agencies, and providing logistical support as needed.

Duties are complex in the scope of general and actual practices. The incumbent directs, assigns, supervises, and /or assists in criminal, personnel, and internal investigations and keeps current records and statistics of these investigations, ensuring that those activities are conducted in accordance with laws, regulations, department policy and procedures and good investigatory practice.

Ensures the EAI Division utilizes best practices in the collection, analyzing, and dissemination of intelligence. Monitors activities on the part of the staff assigned to ensure the development of actionable intelligence to proactively address undesirable activity within KDOC facilities and parole regions.
