FT Site Admin:
The Kansas State Historical Society is seeking a full time Site Administrator for the Charles Curtis House State Historic Site in Topeka. The Curtis House is the former residence of Vice President Charles Curtis located near the state capitol. Duties include opening and closing the historic site, providing guided tours, greeting and orienting guests for their self-guided tour, processing retail sales and light janitorial work.
The position will supervise one part time Assistant Site Administrator, volunteers, submit purchase requests, work orders for site maintenance and preservation. A great opportunity for someone with a love of history and sharing it with guests. The Curtis House is open to the public 10 a.m.
- 5 p.m. Wednesday - Saturday; 1 - 5 p.m. Sunday year-round.

Qualifications
* Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent;
At least six months education in public relations, journalism, English, mass communications, marketing, advertising, or public or business administration is desirable. Experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Licensing & Certification:
Minimum Qualifications:
At least six months experience in communicating information to the public and the media through formal oral or written presentations. (
