Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Mon - Fri 5pm - 3am)
Location: Wilson
Job DescriptionA 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will lead a production team, ensuring safety, efficiency, continuity and alignment with operational targets. The role requires strong leadership, continuous improvement focus and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities- Production Leadership: Lead daily production activities, supervise employees and subcontractors, enforce safety protocols, drive accountability, ensure compliance with permits and regulatory requirements, develop annual production work plans, champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives, align production with budget and operational targets, partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Production Planning & Execution: Ensure production targets and schedules are met, collaborate closely with production schedulers and leadership, proactively address delays, challenges or resource gaps.
- Quality, Efficiency & Cost Control: Balance customer requirements with production efficiency, maintain high standards in quality, output and cost management.
- People Leadership: Lead, coach and develop the team, build a high‑performing work environment, conduct performance evaluations and support career growth.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing / process improvement.
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems; ability to troubleshoot 480
VAC / 3‑phase systems. - Hands‑on experience with mechanical conveyors, motors, pulleys, rigging and heavy equipment handling.
- Six Sigma certification (a plus).
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word required).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
