Registered Nurse (RN)
Location:
Ottawa County Health Center
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate, patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role collaborates with physicians and the care team to support the physical and emotional well-being of patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and document patient needs and conditions
- Implement and follow physician orders accurately
- Monitor and communicate changes in patient status
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures
- Participate in outpatient procedures
- Maintain thorough and timely EMR documentation
- Ensure safe, clean, and organized patient care areas
- Provide leadership to LPNs and CNAs, delegating tasks appropriately
- Support patients and families through education and discharge planning
- Collaborate effectively with all hospital departments
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS/TNCC within 2 years)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills
