Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled registered nurse for our Women, Infant and Children (WIC) and Maternal Child Health (MCH) Program. This position is part‑time, working 3 days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The main office is located in Sabetha and travel to our Seneca office is occasionally required. Additional travel is required for MCH Home Visits.
- Serve as the Women, Infant, Children (WIC) nurse
- Conduct MCH Home Visits to prenatal and postnatal families
- Conduct health assessments/Kan‑Be‑Healthy exams on infants and children
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Provide education to new parents
- Administer vaccinations
- Provide public health education
- Additional public health nursing duties
- Must hold a current Kansas nursing license
- Ability to manage medical records efficiently
- Experience in caring for infants and toddlers, providing guidance to new parents on best practices
