Quality Technician

Emco Wheaton Retail, located in Wilson, NC, is a leading designer and manufacturer of service station products. We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team of talented professionals.

• Performing inspections, testing, and audits on products and processes at various stages of production to ensure that Emco Wheaton standards and customer specifications are being maintained.
• Participate in failure analysis and investigations.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Perform all duties according to company standards and safety procedures while maintaining an acceptable attendance record.
• Work closely and coordinate with the Quality Manager, Engineering and Production to advance the mission of Emco Wheaton Retail in servicing our customers.

• Ability to read engineering drawings, set up and read measuring equipment. (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
• Excellent math, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.
• One year’s experience working in a quality control department or metrology lab. (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Organized self-starter who can work individually or as part of a team.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
