As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Shawnee, KS
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Job Schedule- Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security‑related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access, verify credentials, and report unauthorized activity in accordance with site policies.
- Support healthcare location operations by assisting with directions, de‑escalation when appropriate, and timely reporting of hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
