** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support appropriate to the location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access, verify credentials, and report unauthorized activity in accordance with site policies.

+ Support healthcare location operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation when appropriate, and timely reporting of hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
