Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a premier Kansas City manufacturing facility, is hiring a  
** _Maintenance Mechanic_
** to join their corporate maintenance team.  This qualified individual will be responsible for assisting other maintenance mechanics in installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing and electrical systems for the production facility.  In some instances, this individual will also support building construction and remodeling projects.

* ** Pay Rate Range: $28-36/hour*
* ** Shift:  Day shift Monday - Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm.*
* ** What's the Job?*
* Installs, diagnoses, maintains, and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems of industrial machinery and equipment and physical structures by performing the following duties:

+ Ensures operation of machinery, equipment, and facility by completing maintenance requirements.

+ Responsible for troubleshooting malfunctions.

+ Maintains and controls all specifications.

+ Understands and has a working knowledge of voltages from 120V to 480V 3 phase.

+ Understands and has a working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

+ Assists with the design and installation of major equipment or building structures.

+ Conducts preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure proper operation of machinery and equipment, through following detailed manufacturer recommendations and gained working knowledge.

+ Conduct various building construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects.

+ Performs general maintenance and building structure repairs including plumbing, painting, welding, electrical, HVAC, and/or general facility maintenance.

+ Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Complies and adheres to all Company and regulatory policies, procedures, and regulations.

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum 2 yrs of manufacturing experience.

+ Basic understanding of HVAC's, production equipment, material handling equipment and power distribution equipment.

+ Ability to work in an environment where chemicals are used in the process.
