ThePosition
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our professional team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of customer vehicles, from basic maintenance to complex engine and transmission work. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers’ vehicles are safe and reliable.
Responsibilities- Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various vehicles (foreign and domestic).
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake jobs, tune‑ups, and inspections.
- Utilize advanced computer diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed using our shop management system.
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- 3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate).
- Strong diagnostic, problem‑solving, and technical skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Own tools required (specialty tools provided).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE Certification) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
