Part-time Fed Ex Delivery Driver 8-5 (Olathe, KS)

QIC Corporation (partnering with Fed Ex) seeks a Part‑time Pick‑up & Deliver Driver. This part‑time position aims to fulfill specific individual requests based on your availability. The flexible schedule includes set days, irregular requested days, or substitute driving for vacation/sick days. Ideal for those needing 4‑16 days per month, flexible or non‑traditional shifts, and who want to be home for dinner.

As a team member you will work independently, deliver a wide variety of packages to different addresses, run a well‑maintained vehicle, and work with a steady, determined pace. Tasks include following your route and distributing packages while maintaining time management, and following DOT regulations and safety measures. The role is fast‑paced and geared toward someone who enjoys positive interaction with people.

Daily duties include beginning the day at the Terminal/driver Hub between 7:30‑8:00 am, completing a pre‑trip inspection, and loading and unloading packages at the terminal. Once loaded, you drive to the delivery area in Western Shawnee & Lenexa, delivering packages that can weigh up to 150 lbs. Larger packages may require assistance. Deliveries are typically completed no later than 5:30 pm, with an opportunity to finish earlier.

• At least 21 years old
• Valid, non‑expired Driver's License
• No CDL required
• English proficiency sufficient for communicating with the public and understanding highway signs (FMCS requirement)
• No DUIs
• Pre‑employment background check required
• Pre‑employment drug screen (NOMJ & MJ prescriptions not allowed per DOT)
• Fast‑moving feet and safe mindset
• Daytime shift only
• Paid training available
