Position Summary
The Master of Science in Speech‑Language Pathology (MS‑SLP) program at Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) prepares competent and professional service‑minded leaders in speech‑language pathology who integrate Christian principles and values into the prevention, assessment, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan. The OBU MS‑SLP program invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach clinical courses and provide clinical mentoring to students during external clinical placements.
Adjunct clinical faculty are essential to the success of our students, providing high‑quality instruction in clinical coursework and mentoring and guidance during clinical placements. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellence in clinical teaching and supervision, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to mentoring students in both professional skills and faith integration.
Adjunct positions for on‑campus residencies require in‑person work at the OBU campus. Travel to campus is required, and eligible travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Qualifications- Provide clinical education and evaluate clinical competencies during on‑campus residency experiences.
- Evaluate clinical course assignments and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with ASHA standards for clinical education and supervision.
- Collaborate with program faculty and staff to support student success during on‑campus residencies.
- Model professionalism, ethical practice, and the integration of Christian faith principles and values in clinical practice.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and/or faculty meetings/training as appropriate.
