ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT:

SUPERVISOR:

FLSA:
Non-Exempt

Hourly Rate: $15/hr

ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS:
In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.


FUNCTIONS STATEMENT:

• Provide outstanding customer service that meets or exceeds Management expectations and contributes to a positive gaming environment. Ensure game integrity by providing a professionally dealt game and adhering to all policies and procedures as outlined by the Management and regulatory agencies.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Exceed all requirements in service and friendliness by providing prompt, courteous, and accurate dealing at assigned tables.

• Maintain an exciting and upbeat atmosphere for our guests.

• Follow assigned rotations with no interruption to the workflow.

• Stay informed of all events and promotions at the Casino.

• Check in no earlier than 5 minutes prior to start of shift and be in the pit and ready to work by your scheduled start time to receive instructions and assignments.

• Maintains uniform, hygiene, and grooming in a professional manner.

• Responsible for protecting casino assets in general as well as game specific protection in accordance with policy and procedure.

• Refer patron disputes to supervisor.

• Maintain an awareness of how each game stands with respect to player limits, special customers, gains/losses, and so forth.

• Maintain a polite demeanor while assisting guests on understanding game and casino policies.

• Other duties as assigned by Management.

FACTOR 1: KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION

• Knowledge of single entry ledger accounting principles.

• Knowledge of all casino table games.

• Knowledge of standards of cleanliness as prescribed by various compliance and enforcement agencies associated with the gaming industry.

• Knowledge of the characteristics of appropriate and inappropriate greetings and interaction with guests and customers.

• Knowledge of methods and techniques that assure protection of casino assets.

• Knowledge of management directives and policies as prescribed in current polies and procedures.

• Knowledge of all documentation requirements for each dealer per shift.

• Knowledge of prescribed methods for tracking table inventories.

FACTOR 2: SUPERVISORY CONTROLS

• Incumbent is under the direct supervision of the Floor Supervisor.

• The supervisor assigns work, advises on changes in policy application, if any, and is available in the immediate area for assistance when required.

• Routine work is performed independently while closely observed by supervisor.

• The work is reviewed closely for outcome and results, and for accuracy through spot checks, through complaints from customers and staff and through personal observation of the employee at work.

FACTOR 3: GUIDELINES

• Incumbent uses personal experience and employer standard operating procedures, in addition to handbooks, policies and precedents.

• Guidelines include Citizen Potawatomi Nation regulations and directives.

• The incumbent implements minor adaptations in dealing with problems and situations, always with the best interests of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and Grand Casino Hotel & Resort in mind.

FACTOR 4: COMPLEXITY

• As the level of difficulty increases the incumbent refers the complex situations to the supervisor.

• Incumbent will occasionally be faced with unusual circumstances and incomplete or conflicting data.

• The level of difficulty will vary from a medium level to an intensive level of complex circumstances on an occasional basis.

• The incumbent will not be required to depart from past approaches or develop new approaches to meet major objectives.
