JOB SUMMARY:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the office/clinic setting under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or physician. Communicates effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient’s clinical condition, symptoms, and diagnostic results. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and Triad Complete Healthcare policies. Delivers care tailored to each patient and family’s needs.

Completes patient documentation and billing accurately and promptly. May coordinate and schedule patient appointments and gather demographic information. Facilitates communication between back and front office to support clinic performance.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Medical Assistant Certification required
• Previous clinical experience in a physician practice preferred
• Knowledge of confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Good communication skills with staff, physicians, and the public
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

• Stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and stressful situations
• Correctable vision and hearing to perform duties
• Ability to lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, and kneel
• Fine motor skills for procedures and equipment handling
• Ability to work in a latex-rich environment
