About the Role:

The Senior Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the accommodation facilities, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests. This position involves overseeing the housekeeping team, coordinating daily cleaning schedules, and ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and aesthetics. The Senior Housekeeper will also be responsible for training new staff members and implementing best practices in cleaning and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in hospitality management or a related field.
• Experience with inventory management and staff scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and address any issues promptly.
• Train and mentor new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in good condition.
• Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests and special cleaning needs, ensuring a seamless experience.
