Position SummaryThe Market President is responsible for leading and growing the bank's presence within an assigned market. This role drives business development, manages lending and operations teams, ensures strong credit quality, and serves as a visible leader within the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead market strategy, performance, and profitability
- Drive loan and deposit growth across commercial
- Develop and manage a team of lenders and staff
- Maintain strong relationships with local businesses, professionals, and community leaders
- Oversee credit quality, portfolio performance, and adherence to bank policies
- Represent the bank in community and civic organizations
- Partner with executive leadership on market growth initiatives
- 8-15+ years of banking experience with a focus on commercial lending (C&I, CRE)
- Proven success in business development and relationship management
- Prior leadership or management experience in banking
- Strong credit knowledge and understanding of risk management
- Established ties to the local market preferred
