Description
Basic computer skills
- Supports our company's machinist manufacturing department with various duties.
- Clean and wash parts as needed for inspection.
- Clear chip hopper as needed.
- Clean and set up tools as needed.
- Will operate band saw, overhead crane and forklift as needed.
- Material handling.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, stooping and bending is required.
- Other duties as assigned by management
High School Diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Previous machinist helper experience desired
- Forklift certification
- Overhead crane experience
- Good oral communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical components, airborne fumes, and particles
- Exposure to heat, cold, wet and snow conditions
- Moderate to loud noise levels
