As a Material Coordinator, you will oversee the identification, receipt, documentation, organization, and staging of all supplies utilized within the fabrication facility. By collaborating directly with the Shop Foreman, Project Management, Purchasing, QA/QC teams, as well as welders, fitters, and forklift operators, you will help ensure that all necessary components are readily available, accurately tracked, and positioned to meet production timelines.
CoreResponsibilities
- Your daily functions will involve managing the intake and inventory of materials while upholding precise records to ensure full traceability.
- You will be tasked with organizing the flow and placement of supplies, as well as reporting any inconsistencies or shortages that might hinder manufacturing progress.
- This position is vital for sustaining smooth shop workflows, upholding rigorous quality standards, and ensuring that all materials are managed safely and efficiently from arrival through the completion of the fabrication cycle.
