Job Overview

Women’s Services Nurse – Labor and Delivery

• Collect and analyze health data to develop and implement individualized plans of care for women and newborns.
• Coordinate care delivery to promote woman-, newborn-, and family‑centered care within the scope of practice.
• Develop and evaluate interventions to achieve measurable outcomes for women, fetuses, and newborns.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, healthcare providers, and the community to provide safe and holistic care.
• Serve as a role model, change agent, consultant, and mentor to colleagues and patients.
• Apply evidence‑based nursing practice and scientific knowledge specific to women’s services.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing practice standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Evaluate and improve nursing practices and quality of care for women and newborns.
• Prepare for emergencies and practice in an environmentally safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school or equivalent for licensing.
• No experience required.

Constant speech communication, standing, walking, lifting 0‑25 lbs frequently, and 25‑50 lbs occasionally. Frequency of sitting, reaching, keyboard use, vision, hearing, and sense of smell are required. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and driving may occur. Rare crawling or running may be required.

Night Shift. Scheduled weekly hours: 36.
