Maintenance Laborer
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, including drywall repair, carpentry, painting, remodeling, and other essential maintenance tasks. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are well-maintained and functioning optimally.
· Perform routine maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems.
· Repair and install drywall, including taping, mudding, and finishing.
· Carry out carpentry work, including framing, installation of trim, and other woodwork as needed.
· Execute remodeling projects, including renovations, flooring installation, and layout modifications.
· Paint interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes.
· Troubleshoot and repair general maintenance issues
· Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
· Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
· Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
· Knowledge of drywall, carpentry, painting, and remodeling techniques.
· Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
· Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.
· Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks as needed.
· Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
· Rare but when needed, the willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
